1976	Opened by the Scarborough Public Library Board, 22 March. Officially opened 5 May.
1992	Relocated and enlarged. Closed 5-24 October. reopened 26 October. Moffat Kinoshita Architects.
2007	New hours, 8 January. Hours open per week increased from 57 to 58.5.
2010	New hours, 4 January. Hours open per week increased from 58.5 to 65.5.
2011	Branch reopened 21 January in a larger location on the lower level of the mall.

This is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee (ho-den-oh-sho-nee) Confederacy (aka. the Six Nations Confederacy), the Wendat, and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
