Entrepreneurs Suite
The Entrepreneurs Suite is a dedicated co-working space where entrepreneurs can work, connect with other entrepreneurs and social innovators, and access expert staff assistance, resources, collections and training that will allow them to start and grow their ventures.
About the service
This Suite consists of two rooms: an outer co-working room with four individually bookable workspaces and a separately bookable inner room for meetings and phone calls. Additional bookable meeting rooms are also available in the library.
The space includes:
- four desks equipped with power outlets, wireless internet and a whiteboard
- a large monitor for presentations
- access to printing, scanning and photocopying.
Services include:
- access to collections, resources, staff expertise, and training
- tailored information services and programs to help users grow their ventures
- access to the technology and software in our Digital Innovation Hub.
Location and hours
The Entrepreneurs Suite is in the Business, Science and Technology Department on the 4th floor of North York Central Library, and is open during branch hours. It can be booked for use for half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) for a period of six months.
Apply to use the Entrepreneurs Suite
Applicants must have a valid Toronto Public Library card to apply. For information on how to get a library card, visit Your Library Card.
Applications for the six-month period running from July 1-December 31, 2024 will be accepted from June 1, 2024. Applications are approved based on the information provided, and are processed in the order in which they are received. Applicants will be notified within 2 weeks of applying.
