History

1982	Opened by the Scarborough Public Library Board in Parkway Plaza, southeast corner of Victoria Park and Ellesmere, 1 March.
1987	Renovated and reopened, August. Relocated to larger premises within Parkway Mall.
2007	New hours, 8 January. Hours open per week increased from 47 to 50.5.
2014	The branch was expanded into a neighbouring storefront resulting in an expansion of 577 sq. ft.
2022	Relocated & expanded to 11,746 sq. ft. Hours increase from 50.5 to 65.5. 12 September. Paul DaCunha Architect Inc.

Maryvale is on Indigenous land.
