Service Update
This branch is closed for a renovation and is anticipated to reopen mid-2025. The book drop will also be closed and holds transferred to the Northern District branch. Items can be returned to any branch.
About the project
Locke branch is undergoing a state of good repair. The renovation will bring much needed accessibility updates to the building, as well as a refresh to shelving, seating, and both the children and teen areas, all while ensuring heritage elements continue to be preserved.

Community consultation
In 2022, we hosted an in-person open house where members of the public learned more about the renovation project from the project architects, Building Arts, and the Toronto Public Library team.
