Toronto (July 30, 2009). Toronto Public Library services that were impacted by the City strike will resume as follows:
- Armour Heights, Flemingdon Park, St. James Town and Port Union branches will reopen on Friday, July 31 at 10:00 a.m.
- Todmorden Room will reopen on Tuesday, August 4 at 12:30 p.m.
- City Hall and Urban Affairs branches will return to normal hours of service on Friday, July 31. The City Hall branch will be open from Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Urban Affairs branch will be open with summer hours from Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- The Island bookmobile stops will resume on Saturday, August 8, 2009.
Fines are not being charged for materials that were due at a branch that was closed during the City strike. Fines will still apply for materials borrowed from other branches that were open during the City strike.
