Another Toronto Library to Mark 100 Years of Service!
Toronto Public Library’s Annette Street Branch to Celebrate Centennial on September 12
TORONTO (Tuesday, September 1, 2009) Toronto Public Library’s Annette Street Branch, Toronto’s second oldest operating public library, will celebrate its 100-year anniversary with an all-day party on Saturday, September 12, 2009. The event is open to the public and festivities will include live music, a magician and juggler, a kids craft table, a birthday cake and more. The West Toronto Junction Historical Society will present a walking tour of the Junction community and Heritage Toronto will unveil a plaque to commemorate the Centennial anniversary of the beautiful Beaux-Arts Annette Street Branch building.
