David Arquette, the star of Starvox Entertainment productions' Sherlock Holmes, joins Toronto Star ’s film critic and movie writer Linda Barnard for an on-stage interview at Toronto Reference Library on Friday, October 30 at 3pm.
The interview will be followed by an on-stage Q&A with cast members Renee Olstead (Lady St. John) and Kyle Gatehouse (Moriarty) of the critically acclaimed stage adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle's legendary Sherlock Holmes.
The on-stage presentation will be followed by an audience Q &A and guided tour of Toronto Reference Library's world-renowned Arthur Conan Doyle Collection.
Free tickets are required and are available online at tpl.ca/sherlock. This event is presented in partnership with Starvox Entertainment and June Entertainment.
ABOUT THE ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE COLLECTION
The Toronto Public Library has one of the world's foremost collections of library materials devoted to the life and work of Arthur Conan Doyle including an electic assortment of materials regarding his famous character Sherlock Holmes. The atmospheric Arthur Conan Doyle Collection in the Marilyn and Charles Baillie Centre at the Toronto Reference Library, is home to rare editions, manuscripts, ephemera and more. Admittance is free.

ABOUT THE THEATRICAL PRODUCTION
SHERLOCK HOLMES will be staged at The Ed Mirvish Theatre (244 Victoria St.) from October 27- November 8 with performances Tuesday - Friday evenings at 8:00 pm., Saturdays at 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm. Curtain time Opening Night, Wednesday, October 28, is 7:30 pm. Tickets are available online at mirvish.com.
ABOUT DAVID ARQUETTE
David Arquette is a fourth generation actor from one of the most prestigious acting families in Hollywood. He is thrilled to be taking the stage again and honored to be playing the beloved character, Sherlock Holmes. He was first seen on stage as Frank-N-Furter in the Tiffany Theater production of The Rocky Horror Show in 1999. He returned to the stage in Joanna Murray-Smith's, The Female of the Species, opposite Annette Bening in 2010. In 1997, he was first discovered at Sundance for his role in Johns. Since that time, he has acted in several dozen feature films.
