Junia-T and Ania Soul Live in the Stacks at Toronto Public Library’s Maria A. Shchuka Branch

Celebrate Black Music Month with special performances by Junia-T and Ania Soul!

Celebrate Black Music Month with special performances by Junia-T and Ania Soul, live in the stacks of Maria A. Shchuka Branch on Friday, June 5, for a free, all ages show.

Jonathon "Junia-T" Lindo has collaborated with a who’s who of Toronto talents including Rich Kidd, Tanika Charles, Slakah The Beatchild and his own groups Smash Brovaz and Chefs Plate. Junia-T has exhibited the talent necessary to be a career artist on his latest album Eye See You.

Ania Soul bridges the gap between two disparate musical worlds. She merges the intimacy and introspection of a singer-songwriter with the rich aesthetic of roots, soul and R&B. Ania’s vocal prowess soars on her self-titled EP and when she sings with the 17-piece Toronto super band St. Royals.

The event is hosted by Dalton Higgins, the proprietor behind the popular Rap N’ Roll, a multi-genre live music series, and the author of six books including the first biography of Grammy-winning rapper Drake.
