Language Arts Live in the Stacks at Parkdale Branch

Toronto Public Library’s popular Make Some Noise concert series Presents Toronto based indie-band

Toronto Public Library will present a free concert in the stacks at Parkdale Branch (1303 Queen Street West) featuring the Toronto-based indie band Language Arts.

The brainchild of Toronto-based guitarist, composer and singer Kristen Cudmore, Language Artsis well known for a dizzying array of musical styles – indie pop, hip-hop and prog-rock. Cudmore is joined by drummer Neil MacIntosh, keyboardist Joel Visentin and bassist Soren Nilsesen.

“Cudmore is magnificent onstage and the band she fronts follow suit…The beauty of the quiet harmonies they construct is interrupted by stuff like brutish, discordant, jarring guitar work, and it’s all great.” – Huffington Post
