Mayor David Miller to Kick Off Keep Toronto Reading 2009
TORONTO (Tuesday, March 24, 2009) – Toronto Public Library will officially kick off Keep Toronto Reading 2009 on Thursday March 26, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Toronto Reference Library. Mayor David Miller will proclaim April 2009 as Keep Toronto Reading month and will launch the library’s second community-wide reading initiative, Keep Toronto Reading One Book.
Keep Toronto Reading is the Toronto Public Library’s month-long celebration of the joy of reading, featuring literary and cultural events throughout the city. For complete event information, visit www.keeptorontoreading.ca or pick up a program guide available in 99 library branches, city-wide.
