The Library is a Fun Destination for Families This March Break

Toronto Public Library announces fun filled March Break programs for kids and teens from March 14 to March 21. Most branches offer a wide variety of arts and crafts programs and entertainment all week long. March Break programs at Toronto Public Library are all free.

March Break program highlights include:

 

What:             Star Wars Origami

Where:            Locke Branch

When:             Monday, March 16, 2:00 p.m.

Event Details: Join us for this fun craft session!

 

What:             Mobile Planetarium

Where:            Fairview Branch

When:             Tuesday, March 17, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. (various shows)

Event Details:  Take in an educational and eye-opening show inside a mobile dome.                             

What:             Paint with Me

Where:            Danforth/Coxwell Branch

When:             Wednesday, March 18, 4:00 p.m.

Event Details:  Learn to recreate Edvard Munich’s classic, “The Scream”  

 

What:             Sushi Making for Teens

Where:            Palmerston Branch

When:             Thursday, March 19, 2:00 p.m.

Event Details: Join us for a hands-on sushi-making class with a master chef            

 

What:             Kids Master Chef Challenge

Where:            Pape/Danforth Branch

When:             Friday, March 20, 2:00 p.m.

Event Details: Participants will be supplied with ingredients to create masterpieces.                        

What:             3D Design and Printing for Kids

Where:            Fort York Branch

When:             Saturday, March 21, 2:00 p.m.

Event Details: We’ll teach kids 6-12 how to design a 3D object
