Toronto Public Library and CBC Radio One 99.1 Celebrate Canada Reads with Special Literary Event
TORONTO (Monday, February 9, 2009) - Toronto Public Library and CBC Radio One 99.1 invite all Torontonians to celebrate this year’s Canada Reads battle of the books at Toronto Reference Library on Friday, February 13. A selection of this year’s Canada Reads defenders and nominated authors, along with other special guests, will discuss and read from this year’s books. Live music by members of calypso roots reggae band Kobo Town.
