Toronto Public Library Invites Artists to Exhibit

TORONTO (Thursday, February 12, 2009) - Toronto Public Library invites artists to submit their work for possible exhibition at eleven Toronto Public Library branch locations (Don Mills, Fairview, Leaside, North York Central Library, Northern District, Oakwood Village Library and Arts Centre, Pleasant View, Richview, Runnymede, S. Walter Stewart and Yorkville) during the July 2009 to June 2010 exhibit season.

An Art Selection Committee will consider works prepared for hanging in all media, including photography (no sculptures).  Selected artists will be given one-month showings.  Depending on response, some artists may be asked to exhibit more than once.
