On Tuesday, September 23, join special guests Charles Pachter and Poet Laureate George Elliot Clarke to celebrate the new public art installation on the west façade of Fort York Branch; a unique collaboration between visual artist Charles Pachter and poet Margaret Atwood. The concept for the artwork is based on The Journals of Susanna Moodie.
Beginning at 5pm, media are invited to learn about the artwork, the inspiration behind it and its relationship to the historical Fort York site. Branch tours and light refreshments will follow.
Fort York branch is located at 190 Fort York Boulevard, just east of Bathurst.
Below is an e-vite for the event.
