Collections
The Jewish Mosaic Collection highlights English-language materials about Judaism and Jewish culture, for adults, children and teens. The collection provides fiction and non-fiction about the culture, history and life experience of Jewish communities. The collection is available at the Barbara Frum and Armour Heights branches.

Our Jewish heritage image
The pomegranate, with its abundant seeds, symbolizes righteousness and fertility in Jewish tradition. During Rosh Hashanah, many Jewish families eat pomegranates to represent hopes for a year filled with as many good deeds as the fruit has seeds.
