TD Summer Reading Club

Join Canada’s biggest bilingual reading program for kids

Designed for kids of all ages, interests and abilities, the TD Summer Reading Club inspires kids to explore the fun of reading their way in English and French. Kids are encouraged to read anything (books, audiobooks, comics) and anywhere (under a tree, in the bath, curled up on the couch).

This flexible program provides activities and incentives to keep kids reading and — most importantly — celebrates their accomplishments. Plus, it builds confidence and nurtures a lifelong love of reading. Part of our Summer Wonder experience, the TD Summer Reading Club runs from June 20 to September 5.

Register at your local branch

TD Summer Reading Club kicks off on Saturday, June 20 at branches across the city! Go into your local branch any time this summer to register and receive your free notebook. Set your summer reading goals, track your reads and collect stickers along the way.

French Reading Challenge

Lisez en français cet été! Read in French for a chance to win a prize pack. For each book you read, complete a ballot in branch, providing a brief report on what you read. Each ballot is entered into our end-of-summer draw. The more you read, the more chances you have to win!

Get extra inspiration

Designed just for kids, the TD Summer Reading Club’s national web pages in English and French provide lots of different ways to extend their experience and keep them motivated — from recommended books to interactive activities:

  • Find this summer’s top reads
  • Download colouring sheets
  • Cast your vote in the Battle of the Books
  • Write and submit jokes
  • And more!
