Elections
Mr. Rick Goldsmith was elected Chair of the Board, and Dr. Maureen Rudzik was elected Vice-Chair.
Headquarters for the Board
Approval was given for the establishment of the official headquarters for the Toronto Public Library Board at the Toronto Reference Library, 789 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario, M4W 2G8.
Board Procedural By-law (interim)
The Board adopted a procedural By-law for temporary use governing its officers, head office and meetings. A complete legal review of the By-law is still pending. This procedural By-law replaces all previous by-laws and constitutions of the former library boards of East York, Etobicoke, Metropolitan Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Toronto and York.

The Toronto Public Library Board will meet on the following dates:

Meetings will be held in the Board Room at the Toronto Reference Library, 789 Yonge St. from 6:30 to 9:30pm. A schedule for the balance of the year is to be approved no later than the June 22 meeting.
