Toronto Public Library offers many FREE services to help you get settled in your new city.
Visit us to:
- Get a free library card. All you need is two pieces of identification, one with your name and address in Toronto.
- Use a computer with Internet access, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other resources.
- Use free wifi at all library branches.
- Borrow books, movies, and more either in-person at a branch or online. Library materials are available in different languages.
- Meet one-on-one with a settlement worker who can help you with job search, get a driver’s license and more.
- Borrow English as a Second Language materials for adults and children.
- Attend programs in-person or online on a variety of topics, including learning English, starting a small business, children’s programs, and job searching.
