Settlement agencies and Toronto Public Library provide services to help you get started in Toronto and Canada. You can connect with a settlement worker over the phone, online or in-person and they can help you get settled. This is a free service. See below for locations and contact information.

A settlement worker can help you find out how to:

• get free help finding a job
• learn English and attend free classes
• get a driver's licence
• join newcomer programs
• and much more.

Location and contact information

All settlement workers provide service in English. Contact settlement workers
directly at these locations for services, to register for programs or for help
in a language other than English. Agencies listed will indicate whether they
are a Library Settlement Partnerships (LSP) Agency or an Itinerant Settlement
Service (ISS) Agency.
